We motorize roller, horizontal, Roman, sheer and hurricane shutters. The motor is hidden inside the tube or headrail, so nothing changes on the outside: chains and cords disappear, and with them the risk to children and pets.
It's the only sensible solution for tall windows, skylights and oceanfront glass walls, where reaching a chain means getting a ladder. And with scheduled times, the blinds lower on their own during peak sun hours, which is what really protects furniture and floors.
