In-house workshop since 1985
Custom upholstery in Puerto Vallarta
Sofas, headboards, chairs and outdoor furniture hand-upholstered with Italian fabrics and Sunbrella acrylics, in the Spazio Decoración workshop in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit.
Craftsmanship and the right fabric
Well-upholstered furniture gets a second life
Upholstering isn't just changing the fabric: it's inspecting the frame, replacing springs and webbing, correcting the shape and re-covering the piece with a fabric chosen for how it will actually be used. A well-upholstered heirloom armchair ends up being better furniture than a new one from a store.
We work with Italian fabrics from houses like Dedar, Zimmer + Rohde and Rubelli for interiors, and solution-dyed Sunbrella acrylic for terraces and pools. In a coastal climate, that difference shows by the second year: the right fabric doesn't turn gray or stiffen with humidity and salt air.

Quality and service
Why upholster with us?
Fabric chosen for real-life use
A reading chair isn't the same as a sectional with kids or a daybed by the pool. We choose the fabric for durability, not just color.
Master upholsterers
Our own workshop since 1985. The frame is inspected, springs are replaced and the cover is hand-finished, not stapled over the old fabric.
We pick up and deliver
We pick up the piece at your home anywhere in the bay, work on it in our workshop and return it installed in its place.
