A retractable roof is a pergola with a motorized roof that controls sun, shade and rain over terraces, gardens and pools in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta. Unlike an arm awning, it's a freestanding structure: it doesn't need a wall to support it and covers spans no arm can reach.
It becomes the home's outdoor room — dining area, living area or pool lounge — usable at noon and during the rainy season. It can be completed with vertical drop awnings on the sides to close it off when needed.
